2008 Programs

Beacon:

• The Green Teen Beacon Spring Program begins March 31st. We will be meeting four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) after school to garden, cook, and learn about the food system.
• Forrestall Fall classes (4th Grade)
• The summer program starts the end of June. We will be hiring 9 youth, ages 14-19, to work 30 hours a week for 7 weeks. We will work on local farms, in our gardens, at farmers markets and produce our own homegrown salsa!

Poughkeepsie:

• The Green Teen Poughkeepsie Spring Program begins March 19th. We will be meeting three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) after school to garden, cook, and learn about the food system.
• Astor Day Treatment Center
• The summer program starts the end of June. We will be hiring 9 youth, ages 14-19, to work 30 hours a week for 7 weeks. We will work on local farms, in our gardens, at farmers markets and produce our own homegrown salsa!
